Troop 318 continues tradition in Arlington
On Friday, July 22, Troop 318 participated in the annual Arlington Village Festival Parade. As they marched, they continued a crowd-favorite tradition: carrying a large American flag. The flag belongs to Mr. Warner, who graciously donates it every year to be included in the parade and has requested for the Troop to continue this tradition.
Troop 318 is made up of Scouts from Arlington, Cory Rawson, Hardin Northern, and Findlay. Despite being from different communities, all members of the Troop get along and work together to make their community great.
The following Sunday, once the festivities were over, Troop 318 continued another tradition of theirs: cleaning up the park. Jack and Do’s pizza generously fed the Scouts as they gathered to make sure the park was in great shape after the festival.
Troop 318 is proud to be able to represent their community in such an important event and help afterwards.
