As October starts to get chilly it's high time to read Edgar Allen Poe and watch Something Wicked This Way Comes. Football season is at it's highest and Homecomings are coming to a close. It really is time for the Boys of Fall. As your units and boys have fun this season remember to post pictures on Facebook and tag the district. Now for some news. 

Membership in Arrowwood has jumped all the way up to 311 new scouts! We also welcome the brand-new Cub Scout Pack 317 in Cory-Rawson. They have 18 new Scouts and 2 Lions! Please help all our new families and make them feel welcomed to the world of Scouting. Show them the ropes (and knots) and give them a crash course in Scouting terminology.

The 2017 Fall Camporee will be held at the old Butternut Farm next to the Findlay Reservoir on November 3-5^th. This Camporee is going to be an exciting time for all the Venturers, Boy Scouts, Cub Scout and leaders. This is a Scouting Skills and Leadership competitive camporee. Webelos may be invited as part of a host troop but the Guide to Safe Scouting must be followed. To sign up or get more information click here.
