Few youth organizations encompass the breadth, volume, and diversity of physical activity common to Scouting, and none enjoy a better safety record. The key to maintaining and improving this exemplary record is the conscientious and trained adult leader who is attentive to safety concerns.

Keeping Scouts is an important part of the Scouting program and part of our promise to our Scouts and their parents.  The council’s Risk Management Committee exists to support the volunteers and programs of our council in delivering an exciting and safe Scouting program. 

Our Risk Management Committee wants to understand how and when volunteers will report incidents.   The data from the survey will help the committee understand the reporting culture so they can collect data on areas of exposure and deploy resources to mitigate the risks to keep our Scouts safe.
