Show and Sell Starts Sept. 17

Popcorn Show and Sell will begin Saturday, September 17. Is your unit still interested in selling popcorn but has not registered to sell? There is still time to register you unit to sell this fall! Why Sell Popcorn?

A Council-led fundraiser allows the unit to sell an item that is recognized beyond the Scouting doors. The public associates popcorn as a Scouting fundraiser. The Boy Scouts have been involved with popcorn sales for over 25 years and work closely with the vendors.

This fundraiser also allows your Pack or Troop to do activities you wouldn’t be able to afford and helps units to assist families.

Selling popcorn along with the Friends of Scouting campaign allows the Council to pay for program materials, camp operations and supplies, insurance to protect volunteers, Scouts, staff and property, and assistance to individuals.

Your Scouting unit will receive a 30% base commission for any popcorn you sell and the Scouts earn prizes.

And if your unit has not sold in the past, a new unit kit is available.
