The Black Swamp Area Council has been on a journey to continually improve and update our camps.  In particular our council has been working on two amazing projects, Cooper Lodge with Hubbard Dining Hall at Camp Lakota and Yammine Lodge at Camp Berry. 

Cooper at Camp Lakota has moved to the design development stage.  The design development stage is the point just before the project goes to bid to the contractors.  The groundbreaking for Cooper Lodge is being planned for late this summer.  More than $2.3 million has been raised to this much desired, needed and anticipated lodge at Camp Lakota.

At Camp Berry, Yammine Lodge is approaching completion.  The ribbon cutting for Yammine Lodge is scheduled for June 20 at 5 p.m.  This new lodge will serve as a welcome center, camp office, health lodge and training center.  Yammine Lodge will be a great addition to the facilities of Camp Berry!
