Fall membership recruiting ahead of last year

Council has opportunity to accomplish something that has not occurred in more than 10 years

There are currently high expectations for the Fall Membership Recruiting campaign, as year-end growth is well within our sights.

Led by growth overall each month August through November this Fall recruiting season, council can do something it has not done since before the 2015, by recruiting more Scouts each month than the previous year.

With still one week to go in November, council has already recruited 40 Scouts this month, compared to 37 last year, same month. Beginning with August, the monthly total recruited succeeded last year’s monthly totals.

Additionally, there have already been more Scouts recruited this Fall than all of last fall, with 285 currently recruited, compared to 259 last year August-December.

Currently, the overall yearly membership campaign is at 86% of goal, with 397 new Scouts toward the 464 goal. Each district, but one, has surpassed its Fall recruited number this year over last year's.
