Hazardous Weather Training Required for all Direct Contact Leaders

Who Must Complete Hazardous Weather Training?
All Direct Contact Leaders are required to complete this training to be considered “trained” in their position. These roles include:

• Cubmaster
• Assistant Cubmaster
• Scoutmaster
• Assistant Scoutmaster
• Den Leader
• Assistant Den Leader
• Exploring Advisor
• Associate Exploring Advisor
• Crew Advisor
• Associate Crew Advisor

What You Need to Know:

• Online Only: Hazardous Weather Training can only be completed through the online modules at my.Scouting.
• Recommended for Outdoor Events: Any adult leader attending outdoor activities with a unit is encouraged to complete the training.
• Validity: Training is valid for two years. Leaders will receive email reminders before expiration and can check their status in their my.Scouting account under My Training.
