Scouting program launch set – save your date

The annual Fall kickoff for Scouting is coming soon! A new approach to the annual program launch is planned this year. Please attend and join in the conversation in a more roundtable discussion on key topics each unit faces in recruiting and with the Fall product sale. Learn about best practices and discover new ideas and methods in areas of operations. Inviting new families and raising funds for unit treasuries are two vital elements to a strong Scout group.

The third part of the night includes updates on key program activities and events, so bring each of your unit leaders and even new parents to help grow your Scout group’s knowledge and focus in on the fun that can be had in Scouting and grow you unit!

Here’s a look at each district:

• July 27: Chinquapin District begins play July 27 at Camp Lakota, with time to be determined. Additional dates in Bryan on Aug. 1, with location and time TBD; and Wauseon on Aug. 2, tentatively set for the America Legion, time TBD.
• Aug. 8: Old Sycamore District begins Aug. 8, at the Purple Door Church, 1100 N. Main St., Celina, with start time TBD.
• Aug. 10: Arrowwood District kicks off Aug. 10, with location and time TBD.
• Aug. 10: Great Oaks District kicks off Aug. 10, at the Lima Scout Office, 752. W. Robb Ave., Lima, with time TBD.
