You are invited to attend our Scouters Conference Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Rhodes State College, 4240 Campus Dr, Lima, OH 45804.

The Council Annual Meeting is part the Scouters Conference, which will include a Council Key 3 meeting, Council Coordinated Meeting, Council Recognition Luncheon and Executive Board Meeting. 

The Council Annual Meeting takes place during the Annual Recognition Luncheon, where this year’s class of Silver Beavers will be presented. Election of Council Members-at-Large and Executive Board Members for 2023-2024 will occur at this meeting. Chartered Organization Representatives, Council Members-at-Large and Executive Board Members, are voting members of the Council for this election. 

The following individuals have been appointed to the nominating committee by the council executive board: Sherri Garner Brumbaugh Committee Chair, Matthew Ludwig, John Love, Mark Miller and Keith Eiden. Dan Meffley.

The Silver Beaver is the highest award that a local council can present to a scouting volunteer for service to youth.

Other recognition/awards to be presented include:

• President's award honorees - one from each district
• Kitty Freed Community Service Award for the most community service hours per member 
• Recent James E. West Fellows

Join us at Rhodes State College for a day of important Scouting meetings, conferences, and recognition.  We are looking forward to accomplishing a great deal in just one day.  The conference scheduled includes:

• Council/District Key 3 Conference - 8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
• Council Coordinated Meeting - 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Council Recognition Luncheon AND Council Annual Meeting - 12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.

  • Cost: $30 per person or $225 for a table of 8
• Executive Board Meeting - 2:15 pm - 3:30 pm
