The 100th Anniversary of Camp Berry
Calling all Scouts, Scout Alumni, Scout Families and the Community at large, join the Black Swamp Area Council as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Scout Camping on the banks of Eagle Creek, now known as Camp Berry.
On Saturday, July 8 from 2-7:30 p.m. we celebrate the first 100 years of Camp Berry.
The day is filled with great opportunities to experience this precious property, as you can tour of camp, visit the historic Donnell Lodge and tour the new Yammine Lodge.
Bring your Camp Berry memorable, as tables will be available to share your display in Donnell Lodge. If you would like to have a table, please reserve one in your registration.
The camp is also collecting items to be selected for a time capsule.
Select program areas are planned to be open around camp from 2-5 p.m.
Visit the Camp Berry Trading Post to get your Camp Berry swag.
BBQ Dinner to be served at 6 p.m.
A Closing Campfire begins at 7 p.m., and skits and songs are welcome.
Cost is: $15 per person, $45 per family, which includes the commemorative patch.
