Crown Equipment Corporation is pleased to announce the return of Product Developments Exploring Post chapter! The program offers high school students the chance to learn life and career skills through immersive career experiences and mentorship, facilitated through the Engineering department at Crown. Meetings will occur once a month during the school year. At the meetings, students can expect to participate in activities such as hands-on engineering labs, tours of the Crown facilities, and presentations about career paths in engineering. We will continue to have monthly events throughout the 2021-22 school year.
Marathon Petroleum Engineering Program:Thursday, Sept. 30 from 4-6 p.m. Students can come out any between this time. The program will kickoff in person on the Marathon Campus Greenspace outdoor setting. There students and families will meet the employees and volunteers heading up this year’s program. Doty Dental LLC., Dental Program: Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. Learn about a career in the dentistry profession and work along side professionals and take a deep dive in orthodontics, dental hygienist, oral maxillofacial surgery, how to get into dental school, and more. Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14 - 20. The program provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields. You get hands-on experience to determine whether a particular career field is right for you. You develop valuable networking contacts with professionals working in your selected career fields, and you get to know other youth with your same interests and aspirations.

Exploring began in 1949 and is part of the Black Swamp Area Council program and learning opportunities along with the Scouting program serving young people of West Central and Northwestern Ohio.More than 5,400 individuals are participating in the local program as a Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturers, Explorers and adult volunteers.
