Leader of the Pack Incentive

We know how hard it can be to find Den Leaders. The Leader of the Pack Incentive is to help provide a blueprint of healthy activities for a unit to install. Check quarterly and those units that earn 38 points or more will receive a $75 credit on there unit account. The ultimate goal is to help get more Den Leaders involved in return providing better quality programming. Just think if each den was filled and you had 6 grade levels. That would be six individual den leaders. Maybe you’re a family pack that would equate to 7-12 den leaders. Sometimes a Cubmaster or Committee Chair are busy doing two roles when they already have an important job to do, let alone also serving as Den Leader.

Troop 32 Scout soars out of gate with online sale

Evan E. has come flying out of the gates with his online popcorn sale’s effort, having sold $640 in the first week for Troop 32 as of Aug. 20. Be sure to use the online sales platform as one of your methods this year, along with Show and Sell and Take Order.

Mid-season Show & Sell, chocolate ordering available by Sept. 9

NEW THIS YEAR is the mid-season Show & Sell and chocolate ordering option for all units. If your unit did not participate in the August Show & Sell and now wish to order some product for your Show & Sell efforts, or if you are ready to order some of the chocolate related products, you will be able to do so prior to the Sept. 9 deadline to order. Simply go to your unit account and order the products you need. These products will then be available for pickup Sept. 21.

Return policy clarification

To clarify, Show & Sell product can be returned by Oct. 26. The point of open cases not being accepted back at the return date applies to any product a unit may have after the “Take Order” portion of the sale, which is after the Oct. 26 date. As always, melted or damaged product, dented items, ripped boxes or single item cases with no box, will not be accepted at any time.

Additional Popcorn Distribution Dates

Additional popcorn will be available through the Findlay Service Center on Tuesdays and Fridays during the sale. Please send your orders 24 hours prior to picking up your order to provide time for the staff to prepare your order. Orders should be sent to Kimberly.Davis@Scouting.org. If you are not near the Findlay Service Center, please reach out to your District Executive to see if they can help you in obtaining additional popcorn. We will have a limited amount available at Camp Lakota in Defiance and the Lima Service Center.

Online registration and Unit Pin Management

Make sure your Be A Scout PIN is updated. Packs and Troops can share information about their unit online. Committee Chairs, Charter Organization Representatives, and Cubmasters/Scoutmasters can approve youth online applications.
